How to Purchase the right Hobby Greenhouse
You may be asking yourself, with so many hobby greenhouse kits to choose from,
How do I select the right greenhouse kit?
Please consider some of these important factors on your Greenhouse Purchase.
* Warranty - The Greenhouse must have an extensive polycarbonate panel and frame warranty. More importantly will that supplier be in business a year from now?
Please check the reviews and ratings before your purchase.
* Durability - Is it made from a Heavy-Duty aluminum - powder coated frame?
Does the greenhouse have additional roof and eave supports to support high winds and heavy snow? How thick are the polycarbonate panels?
* Style or Frame Design - Very important depending on geographic location.
Can the Greenhouse withstand harsh winds, rain and snow?
The "A" frame style or "Barn" frame style are very common.
Other types of frame designs may not hold up in high wind and snow.
* Provides Proper Lighting - Will the polycarbonate panels provide enough light for proper growing? To much light can also hurt your plants.
* Insulation - Ventilation - This is critical in cold weather climates.
The polycarbonate panels should be 6 mm to 10mm twin-wall polycarbonate panels for proper winter insulation.
* Modifications - Does the greenhouse kit let you add roof vents, windows, back door and extension kits? Can you turn the Greenhouse from a 8' x 12' to a 8' x 24' down the road?
* Room to Grow - Purchase the right size green house! Think about a 10 year plan.
How much room do you need? You don't want to spend a $1000.00 or more only to find out the greenhouse is to small 3 months later?
* Accessories - What accessories come with the purchase?
(Roof Vents, Rain Gutters, Louvre windows, Misting Kits, etc)
